As with most community based groups, we rely on volunteers.  We need volunteers that can offer help with daily maintenance at the Tower Hill Dog Park, volunteers that can help us out with the planning and execution of special events and we also have need of people that can offer the group special skills eg. fund raising, event organization, carpentry.

Park Stewards

One of our most valued contributors!  Our Leash Free Park would not be as successful as it is without this dedicated group of people. There is no set schedule of this volunteer position. We simply ask that while at the park with their dogs, they keep an eye out for any maintenance issues, pick up any litter in the park and, of course, dispose of any missed piles in the park and bags left on the fences and trees. With a good size group of  volunteers, this can mean that these small chores are done several times a day leaving the park spotless. We also encourage our volunteers to help educate other park users with rules and etiquette to make it a pleasurable experience for everyone.

Event Volunteers

We do host / attend events throughout the year and often need help in both the planning stage and during the actual event. We’d love to hear your ideas and benefit from your experience and the offer of your time to help us out.

Special Skills

We are always looking for individuals who can offer something to the Klub and its members. From fund raising to building agility equipment to dog training, grooming or health tips, whatever your specialty we can put you to work!

Send an email to info@rhk9klub.ca with your interest or idea.
