Any ideas to help improve the park? (and how to pay for it!)

Trees & Shrubs

With Spring around the corner, it's time to think of some planting projects! The area that need the most help is the small dog area as it is rather empty and dreary and needs some spicing up and some shade.

For all you gardeners out there, we need your help! I feel it is important to stick to Native plants only but haven't the slightest clue what may work for our needs. The Town of Richmond Hill has some wonderful publications that may help us out http://www.richmondhill.ca/subpage.asp?pageid=prc_native_species.

Once we have a plan, we can figure out how to pay for them!

Post your ideas as to plant varieties that may work :)

Wendy doesn't know I posted this - lol:

Thought you all might get a kick…

Wendy sent email to City TV Breakfast Television and they answered. Her thing is at 6:40 minutes into the segment. Just wait for the 15 second commercial to end then drag the scroll to about 6 minutes to see. Basically the last 1 minute.

helpful answer? Sort of...
