I have been thinking, and wondering, is there anything at all that can be done about the drainage in the basin? I personally do not want to bring Rockwell to the park when that big lake is there...there's always the concern of ghardia (sp?) never mind a wet sloppy dog! I have seen owners of large dogs in the small dog area just to avoid the problem (no small dogs were present of course) and I think that this water deters people from coming out more often durning the spring thaw.
Would it be possible to create a kind of gutter or install a pipe of some kind to divert the water out of the park? A big undertaking, I know, but it really should have been thought of during construction...
