Looking forward to the upcoming long weekend particularly with the weather forecast being so nice! Mother Nature keeps teasing us with the warmth and the sun; we need it here to stay!
We’ll be spending a lot of time at the park taking new memberships and making sure everyone knows about our upcoming Annual General Meeting on April 13th. We have lots planned including door prizes, refreshments, Park Q & A and guest speakers (and one very special 4 legged guest). Please be sure bring a can of dog food or a toy with you so we can help out the OSPCA with their wish list!
When we are dissatisfied we will often take time out of our day to write that letter or email or make that phone call to ensure someone knows how unhappy their service / product has made us. However, with most of us, when we are pleased with service we receive or a product we have tried we simply continue to go back to the place we enjoyed or continue to buy that product and perhaps tell a few friends. How many of us actually take the time to send a letter of appreciation to that business or manufacturer? Well, in the case of our park we need to do just that. Our park is a pilot project and will come under review at the end of this year. Park attendance is outstanding, even in the most inclement weather, however this doesn’t show up on paper and can’t be seen from the inside of Council Chambers. We need letters & emails from park users with their feedback and lots of them!

This picture was sent to me on Sunday afternoon and it was just too good not to share!
